Teachers Showcase Tech Innovations at Education Conference
2/3/2014
Teachers John Bennett and Matt Russ shared information about two projects that showed how Lippman students are using technology in cool and innovative ways, when they attended the Ohio Educational Technology Conference Jan. 27-29, in Columbus, OH.

Bennet's project, called "Nanagrams", connects 1st grade students with senior citizens through the Instagram iPad app. The project name "Nanagrams" is a combination of the app's name with the "Nana", the name that many children call their grandmother.

Russ, meanwhile presented "Storytelling Across the Nations" project, which highlights the school's cross-cultural exchange program with students, teachers, and elders from the Northern Cheyenne Nation in Montana.
