50th Anniversary Celebration Saturday, March 14, 2015
1/28/2015

The Lippman School will celebrate 50 years of academic excellence and innovation on March 14, 2015 with a reception at the school, and dinner in the auditorium. Click here for details.

Lippman’s Head of School, Sam Chestnut, says “We want to do something special to honor our school’s rich history, as well as all the alumni, generous donors, and community members who have made it possible for us to provide a quality education to our students over the past 50 years. The night will include opportunities for community members to learn about the new educational vision for the school.”

In addition, he says, the school wants to do something big to give back to the community. So, next spring, 50 trees will be donated to the City of Akron, and 50 trees will be donated to Israel. In Akron, the trees will be planted at Forest Lodge, Schneider Park, Hardesty Park, and the Glendale Steps.

A major fundraising effort is underway to raise $50,000. The campaign motto is “50 for 50!” according to Lippman School Board President Trish Crane.
